What is VIM?
VIM optimizes the processes involved with maintaining content on your web site—a task that for so long has required the involvement of Mountain-Dew-guzzling hypergeeks who have been one more link in the chain too many. VIM's greatest strength is that it empowers business-level users/administrators to make these updates themselves without any knowledge of HTML or markup language. It's about as simple as updating a text document. Now either the agency AE can make the updates while on the phone with their client or they can even grant their client access to make changes to certain content themselves.
Create and edit navigation and site structure
VIM allows business-level users to add and edit navigational menus throughout the site. They can easily create new main and sub-sections, blogs and posts about as simply as creating a text document.
Manage images and photos
VIM has an image management tool built into it's admin backend that enables images and entire image collections to be uploaded to the site, managed and placed throughout, again about as simply as doing similar tasks in a word processing program.
Blog away, update news, features, announcements
As simply as managing site content, agency AEs or even their clients can add, edit and manage news, announcements and maintain their own blogs with VIM. No third-party software install needed, no new software to learn. It's in there.
Search optimization and performance—baked in
VIM has all of the fundamentals of search optimization of a web site baked right into the admin panel.
